MenteeBot

Manufactured by Mentee Robotics

Language-driven humanoid that works autonomously without a teleoperator

MenteeBot

Summary

MenteeBot is a bipedal humanoid robot developed by Israel-based Mentee Robotics, standing 175 cm with 40 degrees of freedom and a 25 kg payload capacity. It is designed to execute multi-step tasks autonomously from natural-language instructions, with no teleoperation required.

MenteeBot reached its V3.0 design in early 2025, with custom actuators that deliver three times the power output of the previous generation and per-finger pinch forces of up to 30 N·m, enabling confident handling of a wide range of objects. The robot's 360-degree vision system is built around fisheye cameras on the sides of the body, providing broad situational awareness without relying on a narrow forward-facing sensor suite. Hot-swappable batteries mean the robot can be kept in service continuously across multi-shift operations without waiting for a full charge cycle. MenteeBot's AI stack enables it to interpret natural-language instructions and break them down into executable multi-step plans autonomously, consistent with its LLM-agent task-planning approach. The platform is part of the NVIDIA humanoid early-access program and is currently at the prototype stage ahead of commercial launch.
