1X (formerly Halodi Robotics) develops the EVE wheeled humanoid and the bipedal NEO platform. Backed by OpenAI and others, the company emphasises soft drives, low pinch hazards and a roadmap that puts capable robots in domestic settings before factory floors.

1X separates itself from American competitors by leading with safety: tendon-driven joints, compliant hands and explicit testing protocols for home environments. EVE is already in pilot service deployments; NEO is the consumer-facing bipedal that 1X claims will become widely available toward the end of the decade.
