UBTech

Shenzhen humanoid maker putting Walker robots onto Chinese automotive production lines.

UBTech Robotics, listed on the Hong Kong exchange since December 2023, is one of the few companies with humanoids genuinely working in factories. Its Walker series began mass production and delivery in November 2025, backed by deep partnerships across China's automotive industry.

UBTech is backed by Tencent and works with BYD, NIO, Geely/Zeekr, FAW-Volkswagen, Audi FAW, BAIC, Foxconn and Dongfeng. The company reported a 2025 order backlog exceeding 800 million yuan (about US$112 million), including a record 250-million-yuan order and a 159-million-yuan data-centre deal in Zigong. Its flagship Walker S2 introduced a world-first autonomous hot-swap battery for 24/7 operation. UBTech targets 5,000 deliveries in 2026 and 10,000 per year by 2027.
