Foxconn

The world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, deploying humanoid robots on its own production lines.

Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) is the world's largest contract electronics manufacturer, headquartered in New Taipei, Taiwan. It is deploying NVIDIA-powered humanoid robots to assemble AI servers, maintains a long-term partnership with UBTech, and hosts NVIDIA and Skild AI production lines within its factories.

Foxconn's factories — which produce iPhones, AI servers, and a vast range of consumer electronics for the world's largest technology brands — represent one of the highest-stakes real-world test environments for humanoid robots. The company has announced plans to use NVIDIA-powered humanoids to automate the assembly of AI servers, a task that requires dexterity in handling sensitive components at scale. Its long-running partnership with UBTech gives it access to purpose-built industrial humanoid hardware, while hosting Skild AI's NVIDIA Blackwell production lines provides an early look at what AI-native robot software can do at manufacturing throughput. Foxconn's scale means that even a partial shift toward humanoid automation in its facilities would represent one of the largest real-world deployments in history.
