Arm
The compute IP foundation underlying edge-AI silicon across humanoid platforms
Arm provides the compute IP underlying much of the edge-AI silicon used in humanoids, including NVIDIA Jetson and Qualcomm processors.
Arm's processor architecture is the dominant compute IP in mobile and edge devices globally, and this pervasiveness extends directly into humanoid robotics. NVIDIA's Jetson Thor, Qualcomm's Dragonwing IQ series, and a wide range of other chips used in humanoid perception, planning, and control are built on Arm cores. The company's instruction set architecture and associated tools provide a consistent software foundation across a heterogeneous silicon landscape, reducing porting effort for robotics software stacks. As humanoid compute requirements grow, Arm's continued investment in high-performance and energy-efficient core designs ensures it remains a foundational layer of the hardware ecosystem.
