Shanghai humanoid maker that topped global shipment rankings in 2025.

AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics), founded in February 2023, scaled to high-volume shipping faster than almost any peer. Per Omdia's January 2026 report, AgiBot shipped 5,168 units in 2025 for a 39% global share — number one worldwide — and reportedly built its 10,000th robot by March 2026.

AgiBot's A2 humanoid stands around 169 cm with 23–40 degrees of freedom and 3D LiDAR plus RGB-D sensing, with an A2 Max in the pipeline at 175 cm, 85 kg, 67 DOF and a 40 kg payload. The company holds a Guinness-certified record for a 106 km autonomous walk from Suzhou to Shanghai. Backers include Hillhouse, BYD, HongShan, Tencent and JD.com. AgiBot's rise illustrates how quickly Chinese platforms have scaled — 2025 global humanoid shipments rose roughly 480% year-over-year to 13,318 units.
